Sitting by the pool one afternoon the maid told me that Kitty one of the masseurs had got a little bit feely and questioning, had asked to join us for dinner, but not in the resort. I agreed, why not, so the maid called her and plans were made.

One thing to mention about most of Asia is that it’s not usual for a friend (chaperone) to accompany a girl on a date, until everyone is comfortable.

That afternoon we met Kitty and her friend K2  at a little place nearby for a late lunch and spent the afternoon chatting, drinking and getting to know each other.

It became apparent that they are a lesbian couple and have been for about two years, but that they have to hide it from the resort owners and other workers.

After the day on the beach we went to a “local hotel” got a room for 4 and a fun night to say the least unfolded.


Let’s just say masseurs have strong therapeutic fingers and that’s the same when there inside you !!. They were to teach us a lot over the next week or two.


The next day they took us to a very secluded beach they like, food and drink all prepared, a wonderful day. After dinner we headed inland to ubud to visit the Round bar. The only LGBT friendly bar in that area. A nice place interestingly decorated with recycled plastic and graffiti, after a few drinks, we headed back to our resort as Kitty and K2 have to work.


From then on we got massages exclusively from them everyday we were in the resort.
They gave us an interesting itinerary to follow to explore the Island, which we dutifully followed.


The rest of week 1 was spent in Bali with Kitty, K2 and was a lot of fun.
