Sirens on the Islands
Patmos with it's old castle of the "Knights Templar" is without a doubt a beautiful place, rich in history and very peaceful, a delightful spot very tranquil and very quite. just what we need right now (good choice Gemstone).
Fresh fish, Greek salad and good beer. The locals are very laid back and friendly, it's a really nice get away, for sure.
We are spending our days just wandering around the Island and enjoying the deserted beaches.

Yes, we are happy, relaxed, Cici is putting some weight back on and we are happier than we have been in quite some time. We are having a great time, no men with their "meat sticks" to bother us.
We are making love more, smiling more, although we all feel a little beat up from India.
Baby steps, for sure.
Reconnecting not any to ourselves, but also to each other will take some time.
In a way we all had disconnected what and how we where living in India from our real selves.
My guess is that any slave has to do to preserve an inner self and sanity.
To be now free from slavery is of course a great relief, but also in some ways a little disconcerting as the reality of what happened sinks in.
